With over eight years of leadership experience, Danielle has held key positions in schools both in the United Kingdom and West Africa. She served within middle leadership as a Head of Year for over 100 students in the UK and played a pivotal role in coordinating the operations of a secondary school in Nigeria within senior leadership responsibilities. During her tenure, she not only oversaw the academic growth but also developed systems and operations crucial for the school’s success in this phase.

Currently pursuing her doctorate at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom, Danielle’s research is centered around the critical work of Transcend Education Consults, focusing on measures that promote genuine social mobility among the most disadvantaged groups of young people.

Danielle’s journey into education began with her exposure to Sociology A level, sparking a profound interest in addressing social inequality among young people. This passion led her to earn a BA in Politics and Sociology from The University of Manchester, followed by an MA in Policy Studies in Education from The University College London. In 2019, she completed her PGCE in Citizenship, solidifying her commitment to educational advancement.

A turning point occurred during Danielle’s volunteer experience in Ghana in 2017 at an orphanage. Witnessing the challenges within the education system and gaps in teacher quality ignited her passion for uplifting vulnerable communities in West Africa. Returning years later, Danielle was shocked by the prevalence of unqualified teachers in the most deprived communities of Ghana. Inspired to make a difference, she found herself being sought after to provide crucial training to teachers in these underserved schools. This pivotal moment marked the birth of Transcend Education Consults.
